Votes are In!

Jonas Branscum and Tres Phipps keep their seats on the board of Directors. We offer a hearty handshake and a warm thank you to Joel Weaver and Michael Bradshaw for running, and showing that they aren't afraid to put their money where their mouths are, so to speak.

We have Dustin Caughern as the new Chair, with Curtis Ray Loyd retaining the Vice-Chair and Laura Jo Kelly retaining the Secretary position for the next year.

The Vote to become a Rural Water District passed with a 195 to 18 , kind of margin! We had a great turn out to vote by proxy and in person.

Hooray! Our next steps are to revise, update, overhaul and invest some time in making our governing documents shiny, thorough, and solid before we petition the County Commissioners to give us a new name as Leflore County Rural Water District number... Well, whatever number they give us.
